“EAT OUT FOR EDUCATION is a tangible expression of our gratitude for our primary and secondary education. We aim to pay it forward to children who are denied education for lack of school supplies.
The United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has shown that just three years of basic education makes a significant difference in … health care knowledge and in a family’s income. In many countries throughout the world, if a child appears at the school’s doorstep without basic educational supplies, he or she is turned away.
We are committed to opening the doors of education for other children just as they were opened for us.”
Background Information: Lesly Comrie created this project while participating in a Landmark Education leadership program. Part of the coursework was to create a project that benefits the community through empowering others. Landmark Education is an international training and development company, who is known for offering their flagship course The Landmark Forum (www.landmarkeducation.com).
